Epstein Files and Trump: Insights from White House Chief of Staff
Dec, 16 2025
Wiles, who has also managed Trump's 2024 campaign, stated that she has reviewed what she referred to as 'the Epstein file.' She emphasized that while Trump is included in the file, he is not implicated in any wrongdoing. Wiles criticized Attorney General Pam Bondi for her management of the Department of Justice's investigation into Epstein, suggesting that Bondi underestimated the significance of the scandal.
The renewed scrutiny of Epstein's activities follows his death in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial. Recently, House Oversight Democrats released new photographs from Epstein's estate, which included Trump and other notable figures. The Department of Justice is also expected to release its files on Epstein in compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was signed into law by Trump.
Wiles defended the Trump administration's record, asserting that the White House has achieved significant accomplishments in a short time. She expressed dissatisfaction with how her comments were portrayed in the Vanity Fair article, claiming that important context was omitted to create a negative narrative about the administration.
Additionally, Wiles addressed the alleged birthday letter Trump sent to Epstein in 2003, which has been described in media reports. She stated that the letter does not appear to be authentic and that Trump has labeled it as 'fake.' Wiles indicated that the ongoing legal actions against media outlets regarding this matter may provide further clarity.
